Greg Bousquet Annual Holiday Wish Drive
Each year we honor Gregory Bousquet and his
thoughtfulness through the Annual Holiday Wish Drive. The holiday spirit comes to life in all of us as we deliver gifts to
members of our community, children and adults alike, who find themselves in need during the holiday season - as well as
sending care packages to our service men and women overseas.

Christmas Lights Spectacular (December 15th,2012)
The Gorski family of Killingworth kindly illuminates Wolf Hollow Lane each year with their spectacular
display of lights and Christmas decorations. The yard and wonderland are opened to everyone so the magic can be experienced
up close. The donations collected benefit local programs and charities such as Toys for Tots, H-K Youth and Family
Services, the Killingworth Volunteer Fire Department, Killingworth Equestrian Therapeutic Riding Program, providing fuel to
seniors and families in need in town and Project Graduation. Many thanks to all of our visitors - your generosity always
makes this event successful!See past year
Killingworth Fall Festival (October 13th, 2012)
With a new year and "Trunk or Treat" being so
popular, we have converted the "Halloween Happenings" of the past into a festival that has something for everyone!
In 2012, Parmelee Farm was be overflowing with over 20 vendors selling great items, free pony rides provided by the
Killingworth Equestrian Center, a hay ride around the farm, a fortune teller, the Whey Station gourmet grilled cheese and
soup truck as well as tons of baked goods. But never fear! the more popular events from Halloween Happenings were still there-
Gobble the Ghost, Spooky Hands and Dirt pies kept us in the holiday spirit.
Trunk or Treat (October 31st)
The last two years have been such a hit, that we are doing it again. On a first come, first served basis, we fill the Middle School parking lot with cars that have
their trunks full of candy! It's an amazing way to bring the community together while providing a safe way for local children
to "Trick or Treat". With so many cars, the kids can't help but walk away with tons of treats. For more

Relay for Life (Spring 2013)
The idea of fighting cancer speaks for itself. Our primary missions for the event are to raise as much money as possible for the cause, (click

and to come together as a group. The H-K Relay team has continuously been one of
the top fundraisers in the area. We are proud of our past accomplishments and are honored to be a part of such a momentous

Each year, a dollar amount ranging up to $1000 is set aside to give a
worthy, community-minded Killingworth woman (or women) a scholarship as she graduates from High School and heads towards
higher education. Criteria include community service, letters of recommendation and an essay topic that we choose each year.
This year we are excited to receive 12 applications and they are all so worthy!
