Honoring Suffrage Project

Honoring the 100th Anniversary of Women's Right to Vote With Artwork From the Women of Killingworth

Starting June 14 and continuing through September 14 (the anniversary of Connecticut’s ratification of the 19th amendment), KWO is honoring the 100th anniversary of women’s right to vote with an online presentation of local artwork by the women of Killingworth. We can’t celebrate women’s suffrage together, in person, with a live art exhibition, so we are recognizing this milestone digitally online.

To submit your artwork, please use the form on this page.

All original art is welcome including but not limited to painting, photography, textile art, pottery, and jewelry. Artists are encouraged to submit photos of up to three pieces of their work along with title, if any, media used, and a very brief artist bio.

Art will be displayed on the KWO website, its Facebook page, and Instagram. Questions, email info@kwoct.org.
